TANDAV INDIA  ONE INDIA  ONE APP

Play Store Privacy Policy

Effective Date: 11 October 2026
Version: 23.1.0

1) IMPORTANT NOTICE

This Privacy Policy, Data Governance Notice, Feature Disclosure and User Protection Terms (“Policy”) describes the privacy, data-handling, security, technical, operational and feature-related practices applicable to Tandav India (“Tandav India”, “we”, “us”, “our”, “Platform”, or “Application”).

Tandav India is designed around a local-first and non-custodial architecture for its core device-based features.

Except for limited technical information that may be processed by expressly disclosed third-party technical services, operating-system infrastructure, telecommunications infrastructure, notification systems, crash-reporting systems, analytics systems or other independently operated technical services, Tandav India does not intend to maintain a centralized Tandav India-controlled cloud repository containing the User's local feature content.

In particular, Secure Vault is designed so that documents selected by the User remain on the User's device and are not intentionally uploaded to Tandav India-controlled cloud storage.

Similarly, supported emergency functionality may process location information locally for the purpose of preparing a User-requested emergency communication. Tandav India does not intend to maintain a centralized Tandav India-controlled location-history database merely because the User activates such a feature.

This Policy is intended to describe the actual data practices of the applicable application version. The Application's technical implementation, permissions, SDK configuration and third-party integrations shall be maintained consistently with the disclosures made in this Policy.

Nothing in this Policy shall be interpreted as:

- a guarantee that the Application or any individual feature will always operate without error;
- a guarantee that any emergency communication will be successfully transmitted, delivered, received, read or acted upon;
- a guarantee that external government portals or third-party services will remain available or accurate;
- a guarantee that locally stored information can always be recovered;
- a representation that any electronic system is completely secure;
- a waiver of any statutory right or protection that cannot lawfully be waived;
- a restriction upon any governmental, regulatory, judicial or statutory authority acting within its lawful powers; or
- a contractual exclusion of liability to the extent such exclusion is prohibited by applicable law.

Where a mandatory provision of applicable law conflicts with this Policy, the mandatory legal requirement shall prevail to the extent of the conflict.

2) IDENTITY AND NATURE OF TANDAV INDIA

- a court;
- a police department;
- an emergency-response center;
- a hospital;
- a medical provider;
- a bank;
- an insurance company;
- a financial institution;
- a legal authority; or
- any other governmental or professional authority.

The Application may facilitate access to services operated by third parties without becoming the operator of those services.

3) NO GOVERNMENT AFFILIATION

Tandav India is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, operated by, controlled by, or officially connected with the Government of India, any State Government, Union Territory administration, municipality, ministry, department, statutory authority, police authority or other governmental organization unless a specific relationship is expressly and officially disclosed.

The availability of a government-related service, scheme, portal, department, form, link, logo, name or reference within Tandav India does not constitute:

- governmental endorsement;
- governmental certification;
- governmental sponsorship;
- governmental approval;
 - governmental partnership;
- governmental authorization; or
- representation that Tandav India is an official government application.

Government names, emblems, logos, trademarks, service names, domain names and intellectual-property rights remain with their respective owners.

Where a future feature materially changes the nature, purpose, category, recipient or manner of personal-data processing, Tandav India shall update the applicable privacy disclosure and provide any notice, consent, permission disclosure or other measure required by applicable law or platform requirements before or at the time such processing begins, as applicable.

The inclusion of a future feature in a later version shall not automatically authorize undisclosed processing of personal data under this Policy.

5) LOCAL-FIRST / NO FEATURE DATA COLLECTION

Tandav India is designed around a local-first, data-minimisation and non-custodial architecture for supported local features.

The fact that the Android device makes certain information technically accessible to the Application does not by itself mean that Tandav India collects, stores or transmits that information to its own servers.

For supported local features, information is intended to remain on the User's device.

Tandav India does not intentionally maintain a Tandav India-controlled cloud repository containing:

- Secure Vault documents;
- Secure Vault images;
- Secure Vault files;
- Secure Vault contents;
- locally stored personal documents;
- emergency SMS contents generated by supported local emergency functionality;
- live-location history generated solely for supported local emergency functionality;
- passwords;
- OTPs;
- UPI PINs;
- banking passwords;
- card PINs;
- authentication secrets; or
- other confidential credentials.

Information may be processed locally where reasonably required for:

- providing a requested feature;
- enabling a User-selected action;
- generating an emergency communication;
- obtaining location information required for a User-requested emergency action;
- maintaining application functionality;
- applying local security controls;
- diagnosing technical failures;
- preventing misuse;
- improving reliability;
- complying with applicable law;
- responding to lawful governmental or regulatory requirements;
- enforcing applicable terms; or
- another purpose appropriately disclosed to the User or permitted by applicable law.

This local-first statement does not mean that Android, telecommunications operators, Google Play services, third-party SDKs, external websites or other independent infrastructure can never process technical information.

6) CATEGORIES OF INFORMATION

Depending upon the feature used, information may be processed locally on the User's device.

Examples may include:

- documents selected for Secure Vault;
- photographs or files selected for local storage;
- emergency-contact information entered by the User;
- location information required for a User-requested emergency feature;
- voice input required for supported voice functionality;
- application preferences;
- saved service links;
- local feature settings;
- locally generated messages;
- information voluntarily entered by the User; and
- technical information required for application operation or diagnostics.

Tandav India does not intentionally transmit local feature content to Tandav India-controlled cloud storage unless the relevant feature expressly requires such transmission and the applicable disclosure has been provided.

Technical data processed by third-party services shall be separately identified where applicable.

7) INFORMATION VOLUNTARILY PROVIDED BY THE USER

Users may voluntarily provide information when configuring or using particular features.

Depending upon the feature, this may include:

- name;
- emergency-contact information;
- information entered into a local form;
- information selected for Secure Vault;
- service-search information;
- support communications;
- feature preferences; or
- other information intentionally supplied by the User.

Where the relevant feature is designed for local processing, the information remains on the User's device and is not intended to be transmitted to Tandav India-controlled storage.

Users should provide only information reasonably necessary for the relevant feature.

Users should not intentionally provide:

- passwords;
- OTPs;
- UPI PINs;
- card PINs;
- banking passwords;
- authentication secrets; or
- confidential credentials

through ordinary support communications or unrelated Application functionality.

8) INFORMATION TANDAV INDIA DOES NOT INTEND TO COLLECT OR STORE

Under the local-first architecture described in this Policy, Tandav India does not intentionally collect or maintain in Tandav India-controlled cloud storage:

- Secure Vault documents;
- Secure Vault photographs;
- Secure Vault files;
- Secure Vault contents;
- passwords;
- OTPs;
- UPI PINs;
- banking passwords;
- card PINs;
- authentication secrets;
- emergency SMS contents generated by supported local functionality;
- live-location history solely generated for supported local emergency functionality; or
- other confidential authentication information.

Tandav India does not sell, rent or commercially trade the User's Secure Vault contents or local feature content.

This provision does not prevent information from being processed by an external service when the User voluntarily leaves Tandav India and interacts with that external service.

This provision also does not prevent independent processing by Android, telecommunications operators, Google Play services, third-party SDKs or other technical infrastructure where technically required.

9) LOCAL STORAGE AND NON-CUSTODIAL ARCHITECTURE

Tandav India's local-first architecture is intended to ensure that supported local feature content remains under the User's direct device custody.

Where a feature is implemented locally, Tandav India does not require a cloud copy of the User's feature content.

Accordingly, Tandav India ordinarily cannot:

- remotely view a locally stored Vault document;
- remotely download a locally stored Vault document;
- remotely restore a deleted local Vault document;
- remotely retrieve a locally stored file;
- provide a cloud copy of a locally stored Vault document; or
- reconstruct information that was never transmitted to Tandav India-controlled infrastructure.

Users acknowledge that local storage creates a different risk profile from cloud storage.

Loss of the device, device corruption, deletion, application-data clearing, operating-system failure, encryption-key loss or similar event may result in permanent loss of locally stored information.

10) SECURE VAULT

Secure Vault is designed as local device storage for documents, files, images and other information selected by the User.

Secure Vault is not intended to upload the User's documents to Tandav India-controlled cloud storage.

Secure Vault is not represented as a cloud backup service.

Where technically implemented, Vault information may be protected using cryptographic mechanisms such as AES-256-GCM and Android Keystore or equivalent Android security mechanisms.

Any description of encryption or security technology applies only to the mechanisms actually implemented in the applicable Application version.

Security may nevertheless be affected by:

- malware;
- rooted or modified devices;
- operating-system vulnerabilities;
- compromised Android components;
- malicious applications;
- physical access to the device;
- compromised device credentials;
- hardware failure;
- storage corruption;
- accidental deletion;
- application corruption;
- unsuccessful updates;
- loss of encryption keys; or
- circumstances outside Tandav India's reasonable control.

Users should not interpret Secure Vault as an independently guaranteed archival or backup system.

11) PERMANENT LOSS OF VAULT DATA

Because Secure Vault is designed for local device storage, Tandav India may have no cloud copy from which lost Vault information can be recovered.

Vault information may become permanently inaccessible following:

- application deletion;
- clearing application data;
- device reset;
- device loss;
- device theft;
- storage corruption;
- hardware failure;
- loss of encryption keys;
- accidental deletion;
- operating-system changes;
- incompatible software updates; or
- other local-device events.

Users are responsible for maintaining independent backups of documents that they cannot afford to lose.

Tandav India does not guarantee recovery of locally stored Vault information.

A visible in-app warning may additionally be presented to Users before or during use of the Vault.

12) TANDAV BOL AND MICROPHONE

Tandav Bol may require microphone access where microphone input is necessary for the requested functionality.

The Application shall request applicable Android permission through the operating system where required.

Where Tandav Bol is implemented using local processing, the relevant voice input is processed on the User's device for the requested functionality.

Tandav India does not intentionally maintain permanent voice recordings or centralized voice profiles merely through ordinary use of a local voice feature.

If a future release introduces an external speech-processing service, the relevant data flow shall be separately reviewed and disclosed where required.

Users acknowledge that operating-system components, speech services, SDKs or external infrastructure may process technical information where required by the actual implementation.

13) JAGRUKH

Jagrukh may provide:

- informational updates;
- reminders;
- deadlines;
- public-information summaries;
- government-service information;
- alerts; and
- other informational content.

Jagrukh information may originate from publicly available sources, official websites, databases or other information sources.

Jagrukh does not constitute:

- government certification;
- legal advice;
- medical advice;
- financial advice;
- professional advice;
- an official eligibility determination;
- a guarantee that a deadline remains unchanged; or
- a replacement for information published by the competent authority.

Users should verify consequential information directly with the relevant official source.

14) GOVERNMENT SERVICES AND EXTERNAL PORTALS

Tandav India may provide links, navigation mechanisms, service descriptions, search results and other mechanisms for discovering government or public services.

Tandav India does not operate the external government portal merely because it provides navigation to that portal.

The external authority may independently control:

- applications;
- submissions;
- verification;
- approvals;
- rejections;
- payments;
- certificates;
- processing times;
- eligibility decisions;
- application status;
- forms;
- fees;
- authentication;
- data collection; and
- data retention.

When the User opens an external website, the User may become subject to that website's own:

- privacy policy;
- terms;
- cookies;
- permissions;
- tracking technologies;
- security practices; and
- data-processing practices.

15) EXTERNAL WEBSITE WARNING

Before submitting confidential information to an external website, Users should verify that they are interacting with the intended official or third-party website.

Where technically practicable, Tandav India may present an in-app notice such as:

“You are leaving Tandav India. You are about to open an external website operated by another organization. Its privacy policy and terms may apply.”

Tandav India does not control the privacy practices of an external website after the User leaves the Tandav India environment.

An external link may subsequently become:

- unavailable;
- redirected;
- modified;
- replaced;
- suspended;
- discontinued;
- inaccurate; or
- compromised.

16) YATRA KAVACH

Yatra Kavach may provide travel or safety-related functionality.

Depending upon the feature, Android permissions may include:

- location;
- GPS;
- notifications;
- foreground service;
- SMS; or
- other technically necessary permissions.

Permissions shall be requested only for functionality for which they are technically necessary.

Where Yatra Kavach uses location locally, location information is processed for the requested feature and is not intended to create a centralized Tandav India location-history database.

Location accuracy may be affected by:

- GPS availability;
- indoor environments;
- device hardware;
- network positioning;
- operating-system restrictions;
- battery-saving settings;
- denied permissions;
- disabled location services;
- network conditions; or
- other technical conditions.

Tandav India does not guarantee continuous, exact or uninterrupted location information.

17) SURAKSHA SMS

Suraksha SMS may allow the User to initiate an emergency SMS to a contact selected by the User.

Where supported, the Application may obtain the device's current location for the purpose of preparing the emergency message requested by the User.

The message may be generated on the User's device and transmitted through the User's SIM and telecommunications network.

Tandav India does not intentionally upload or maintain the emergency SMS contents or the live location used for that message in Tandav India-controlled cloud storage.

The User acknowledges that the emergency SMS may be processed by:

- the User's device;
- Android;
- the telecommunications carrier;
- SMS infrastructure;
- the recipient's device; and
- other infrastructure involved in message transmission.

Successful operation depends upon:

- location permission;
- SMS permission;
- SIM availability;
- network coverage;
- telecommunications infrastructure;
- device configuration;
- battery availability;
- recipient information;
- operating-system restrictions; and
- other technical conditions.

Tandav India does not guarantee that the SMS will:

- be generated;
- contain accurate location information;
- leave the device;
- reach the network;
- reach the intended recipient;
- be delivered promptly;
- be displayed;
- be read; or
- result in assistance.

18) NARI KAVACH

Nari Kavach is an additional personal-safety assistance feature and is not an emergency-response authority.

Depending upon the applicable version, Nari Kavach may provide:

- SOS functionality;
- emergency alerts;
- emergency SMS;
- location functionality;
- siren functionality;
- SOS light or flashlight functionality;
- emergency-contact functionality; and
- other safety assistance.

Where the feature operates locally, the relevant location and emergency information are processed on the User's device for the requested action and are not intended to be maintained as a centralized Tandav India cloud record.

Nari Kavach may fail because of:

- device failure;
- battery depletion;
- network failure;
- SIM failure;
- telecommunications interruption;
- incorrect configuration;
- denied permissions;
- GPS failure;
- operating-system restrictions;
- application crashes;
- background-process restrictions;
- malware;
- physical damage;
- device theft;
- inadequate network coverage;
- incorrect emergency-contact information;
- recipient-side failure;
- third-party service failure; or
- circumstances outside Tandav India's reasonable control.

Nari Kavach does not guarantee rescue, police dispatch, ambulance dispatch, emergency response or law-enforcement intervention.

In an immediate or life-threatening emergency, Users should directly contact the appropriate official emergency service.

19) NO EMERGENCY-SERVICE GUARANTEE

Tandav India is not an emergency-response center.

No Tandav India feature creates a guarantee that emergency assistance will be dispatched or provided.

Emergency features are supplementary technological tools intended to assist the User.

The User remains responsible for contacting the appropriate official emergency authority where required.

The failure of a Tandav India emergency feature does not itself establish that the User contacted or notified an official emergency authority.

20) TANDAV SANKALP

Tandav Sankalp may help Users discover potentially relevant government schemes, programmes or services based upon information selected or entered by the User.

Where technically implemented as a local feature, matching and selection information may be processed on the User's device.

A Tandav Sankalp result is not an official determination of:

- eligibility;
- entitlement;
- qualification;
- approval;
- government status;
- legal status; or
- benefit availability.

Only the relevant competent authority can make an authoritative determination.

Users should independently verify eligibility and requirements before relying upon a result.

21) JANSHAKTI

JanShakti may permit Users to create, prepare, organize or share reports, observations, complaints or other user-generated content.

Where content is created locally and then shared by the User, transmission occurs as a consequence of the User-selected sharing or submission action.

The destination selected by the User may independently receive, store and process the submitted information.

Tandav India does not intend to maintain a centralized cloud archive of locally prepared JanShakti content unless the applicable feature expressly requires server-side submission and provides the relevant disclosure.

Users remain responsible for content they voluntarily submit or share.

Users shall not intentionally submit:

- knowingly false information;
- impersonation;
- unlawful content;
- confidential third-party information without authorization;
- passwords;
- OTPs;
- financial authentication credentials;
- intellectual-property-infringing content;
- malicious or abusive content; or
- content prohibited by applicable law.

22) PRATHMIK UPCHAR

Prathmik Upchar may provide general informational assistance relating to first aid or health-related topics.

Where implemented as a local informational feature, the relevant interaction may be processed on the User's device.

Prathmik Upchar is not:

- a physician;
- a hospital;
- an emergency medical service;
- a diagnostic service;
- a substitute for professional medical advice; or
- a replacement for qualified clinical judgment.

Users should seek professional medical assistance whenever circumstances require it.

Tandav India does not guarantee that information presented through the feature is suitable for a particular person or medical condition.

23) ANALYTICS AND DIAGNOSTICS

Tandav India's local feature-data architecture is distinct from technical diagnostics.

Where enabled in the released Application, third-party technical services may process limited technical information for:

- crash diagnosis;
- application stability;
- technical analytics;
- notification delivery;
- security; or
- related technical purposes.

Potential third-party services may include:

- Firebase Crashlytics;
- Firebase Analytics;
- Firebase Cloud Messaging; or
- other expressly identified technical services.

The exact services and data processed must correspond to the actual SDK configuration of the released Application.

Tandav India shall not intentionally send Secure Vault document contents, emergency SMS contents, passwords, OTPs or other confidential feature content to analytics or crash-reporting services merely for analytics or diagnostics.

Analytics and crash-reporting systems shall be configured so that unnecessary personal or sensitive feature content is not intentionally transmitted.

If a third-party SDK processes information from the Application, such processing shall be treated as part of the Application's data-handling obligations for purposes of applicable platform requirements.

24) THIRD-PARTY SERVICE PROVIDERS

Tandav India may use third-party providers for limited technical functions.

These may include:

- application infrastructure;
- crash diagnostics;
- notification delivery;
- security infrastructure;
- analytics, where enabled;
- application distribution;
- telecommunications;
- operating-system functionality;
- hosting of applicable public information; and
- other necessary technical services.

The use of a third-party provider does not by itself mean that Tandav India uploads Secure Vault documents, local feature content or emergency SMS contents to that provider.

Third-party providers may independently process information according to their own technical systems, contractual obligations and privacy policies.

Tandav India does not intentionally sell or rent personal or sensitive user data.

25) LEGAL AND REGULATORY DISCLOSURES

Tandav India may disclose information under its control where reasonably necessary to:

- comply with applicable law;
- comply with a valid judicial or governmental order;
- respond to a lawful governmental request;
- protect users;
- prevent fraud;
- investigate security incidents;
- investigate abuse;
- enforce applicable terms;
- protect Tandav India's rights or property;
- protect third-party rights;
- establish, exercise or defend legal claims; or
- satisfy another legally recognized obligation.

Tandav India cannot provide information that it does not possess.

Where information exists solely on the User's device and has never been transmitted to Tandav India-controlled infrastructure, Tandav India may have no technical ability to access or disclose that information.

Where legally permissible, Tandav India may limit disclosure to information reasonably relevant to the lawful request.

26) BUSINESS TRANSFERS

In the event of a merger, acquisition, restructuring, financing, sale of assets, corporate reorganization, insolvency proceeding or similar transaction, information lawfully maintained by Tandav India may be transferred as part of the relevant transaction, subject to applicable law.

Locally stored User information that Tandav India never receives is not automatically transferred merely because a corporate transaction occurs.

Where legally required, appropriate notice may be provided concerning material changes resulting from such transaction.

27) INTERNATIONAL OR CROSS-BORDER PROCESSING

Certain third-party technical services may process limited technical information from locations outside the User's immediate geographic location.

Such processing may arise from:

- application distribution;
- analytics;
- crash reporting;
- notification infrastructure;
- operating-system services;
- cloud infrastructure;
- third-party APIs; or
- other technical dependencies.

Tandav India does not intentionally transfer Secure Vault documents to third-party infrastructure merely because those documents are stored within Secure Vault.

Any applicable cross-border processing shall remain subject to applicable legal requirements.

28) DATA RETENTION

Tandav India does not maintain a server-side retention period for feature content that it never receives.

For local features:

- Secure Vault documents remain on the User's device until deleted or otherwise removed;
- locally generated emergency information is not intended to be retained by Tandav India;
- local feature settings remain subject to the User's device and Application data; and
- local data may be permanently lost following deletion or device failure.

Limited technical information processed through third-party services may have retention periods determined by the relevant provider and actual configuration.

Such information may be retained for:

- security;
- crash diagnosis;
- fraud prevention;
- service integrity;
- legal compliance;
- regulatory requirements;
- dispute resolution;
- technical operation; or
- other legally permitted purposes.

29) DATA DELETION

Where information exists exclusively on the User's device, the User may delete that information using the applicable device or Application functionality.

Tandav India may not possess the technical ability to remotely delete information that it never received.

Deletion of local information may be permanent.

Where technical information is processed by a third-party provider, deletion may be subject to the provider's technical and legal retention requirements.

Nothing in this section prevents Tandav India from retaining information where applicable law requires or permits such retention.

30) ACCOUNT DELETION

Where Tandav India provides registered accounts, the Application or designated mechanism may provide an account-deletion process.

Where a feature operates without a Tandav India account and stores information exclusively on the User's device, there may be no corresponding Tandav India server-side feature data to delete.

Account deletion does not necessarily require deletion of information that Tandav India is legally required or permitted to retain.

31) USER RIGHTS

Subject to applicable law and its effective date, Users may have rights concerning their personal data, including:

- access to information concerning processing;
- correction of inaccurate information;
- erasure or deletion;
- grievance redressal;
- withdrawal of consent where applicable;
- nomination or related statutory rights where applicable; and
- other rights established by applicable law.

Where information exists exclusively on the User's device and is not held by Tandav India, Tandav India may be unable to access, export, correct or delete that local information on the User's behalf.

32) PRIVACY REQUESTS AND GRIEVANCE PROCEDURE

Users may submit privacy-related requests or grievances by contacting:

Email: supporttandavindia@gmail.com

For efficient processing, Users should include:

- subject line identifying the request as a “Privacy Request” or “Privacy Grievance”;
- a description of the issue;
- the specific request being made;
- relevant Application or feature information; and
- reasonable information necessary to verify the requester's identity or authority where required.

Requests may concern:

- access;
- correction;
- deletion;
- withdrawal of consent;
- privacy complaints;
- processing questions;
- security concerns; or
- other legally recognized privacy matters.

Tandav India may request reasonable verification where necessary to prevent unauthorized disclosure, deletion or modification.

Where the relevant information exists solely on the User's device, Tandav India may explain that the information is outside its technical custody.

Requests shall be handled in accordance with applicable law and applicable statutory timelines.

33) CHILDREN AND MINORS

Tandav India shall comply with applicable legal requirements relating to children and minors.

Where applicable law requires additional consent, verification, parental consent, restrictions or safeguards for processing children's personal data, Tandav India shall implement the requirements applicable to the relevant processing activity.

Parents or lawful guardians who believe that a child's personal data has been processed improperly may contact:

supporttandavindia@gmail.com

Tandav India does not intentionally request unnecessary sensitive information from children.

34) DATA SECURITY

Tandav India may employ reasonable technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of information under its control.

Security measures may include:

- encryption;
- access controls;
- secure communications;
- permission restrictions;
- application-level security mechanisms;
- security updates;
- vulnerability management;
- logging;
- monitoring; and
- incident-response procedures.

Secure Vault may use device-level cryptographic security mechanisms where implemented.

No electronic system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Information stored exclusively on the User's device may be exposed through circumstances outside Tandav India's control.

35) SECURITY INCIDENTS AND DATA BREACHES

Where Tandav India becomes aware of a security incident involving information under its control, it may undertake:

- investigation;
- containment;
- remediation;
- risk assessment;
- preservation;
- notification; and
- other response measures

as required or reasonably appropriate under applicable law.

Where notification is legally required, Tandav India shall follow applicable statutory or regulatory requirements.

Where information exists exclusively on the User's device and was never transmitted to Tandav India-controlled infrastructure, Tandav India may not have visibility into or technical control over a security incident occurring solely on that device.

36) APPLICATION FAILURES AND TECHNICAL GLITCHES

Tandav India is software and may experience:

- bugs;
- crashes;
- compatibility problems;
- interruptions;
- errors;
- latency;
- incorrect outputs;
- notification failures;
- permission failures;
- device-specific problems;
- operating-system incompatibilities;
- third-party failures; or
- other technical abnormalities.

Features may become temporarily unavailable or may be modified, restricted or discontinued.

Local-first architecture does not eliminate the possibility of data loss resulting from events occurring on the User's own device.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Tandav India shall not be responsible for consequences caused solely by circumstances outside its reasonable control.

37) NETWORK, TELECOMMUNICATION AND DEVICE DEPENDENCIES

Certain features depend upon systems not owned or exclusively controlled by Tandav India, including:

- mobile networks;
- Internet service providers;
- SMS carriers;
- GPS infrastructure;
- Android operating-system services;
- notification infrastructure;
- external websites;
- device hardware;
- SIM cards;
- cloud infrastructure; and
- third-party APIs.

A failure, interruption or degradation of such infrastructure may affect the functionality of Tandav India.

In particular, emergency SMS functionality depends upon telecommunications infrastructure even when the message is generated locally on the User's device.

38) USER RESPONSIBILITY

Users are responsible for:

- maintaining a reasonably secured device;
- maintaining appropriate device authentication;
- keeping the operating system reasonably updated;
- maintaining a functional SIM and network connection where required;
- granting permissions necessary for features they choose to use;
- entering accurate information;
- verifying emergency-contact details;
- maintaining independent backups of important documents;
- independently verifying government information;
- obtaining professional medical advice where required;
- obtaining professional legal or financial advice where required;
- contacting official emergency services when appropriate; and
- protecting their own authentication credentials.

39) PROHIBITED MISUSE

Users shall not intentionally use Tandav India to:

- conduct unlawful surveillance;
- compromise another person's privacy;
- transmit malware;
- circumvent security controls;
- exploit vulnerabilities;
- impersonate government authorities;
- submit fraudulent information;
- abuse emergency functionality;
- send unauthorized communications;
- interfere with Application availability;
- infringe intellectual-property rights; or
- otherwise misuse the Services.

Tandav India may take appropriate technical or legal action where reasonably necessary and legally permissible.

40) INFORMATION ACCURACY DISCLAIMER

Reasonable efforts may be undertaken to maintain useful information.

However, Tandav India does not warrant that all information will always be:

- complete;
- accurate;
- current;
- error-free;
- continuously available;
- officially verified;
- suitable for a particular purpose; or
- unchanged after publication.

Government policies, schemes, eligibility conditions, deadlines, fees, URLs, forms, regulations and procedures may change.

Users should verify consequential information with the relevant official authority.

41) NO PROFESSIONAL ADVICE

Unless expressly stated otherwise, Tandav India does not provide professional:

- legal advice;
- medical advice;
- financial advice;
- investment advice;
- insurance advice;
- tax advice;
- immigration advice;
- employment advice; or
- governmental advisory services.

Information available through the Application is informational in nature.

42) NO GUARANTEE OF SERVICE AVAILABILITY

The Services may become unavailable due to:

No continuous-availability warranty is created merely by providing access to the Application.

43) NO GUARANTEE OF EMERGENCY COMMUNICATION

No emergency feature should be treated as the sole mechanism for seeking assistance.

The successful delivery of:

- SOS;
- SMS;
- location;
- notifications;
- sirens;
- alerts;
- calls; or
- other safety signals

cannot be guaranteed.

Users should maintain appropriate alternative emergency mechanisms.

The use of location for a supported emergency action does not, by itself, constitute continuous location tracking by Tandav India.

44) LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Tandav India and its applicable founders, developers, employees, contractors, service providers, licensors, affiliates and technology partners shall not be responsible for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary or punitive losses arising from or relating to:

- Application malfunction;
- technical glitches;
- software defects;
- service interruption;
- loss of locally stored information;
- loss of Vault information;
- inaccurate information;
- external website failures;
- government portal failures;
- network failures;
- SMS failures;
- GPS inaccuracies;
- notification failures;
- device failures;
- operating-system restrictions;
- third-party service failures;
- unauthorized access;
- cybersecurity incidents;
- User error;
- inaccurate information supplied by the User;
- failure to obtain professional advice;
- failure to contact official emergency services; or
- circumstances outside Tandav India's reasonable control.

Nothing in this section excludes or limits liability to the extent such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law.

45) NON-WAIVABLE RIGHTS

Nothing in this Policy is intended to:

- exclude mandatory statutory rights;
- eliminate legally mandatory remedies;
- defeat applicable consumer-protection law;
- eliminate regulatory authority;
- restrict lawful governmental investigation;
- waive non-waivable statutory obligations; or
- otherwise operate contrary to mandatory law.

If any exclusion or limitation is legally impermissible, it shall apply only to the maximum extent permitted by law.

The remaining provisions shall continue to apply to the maximum extent legally permissible.

46) USER RESPONSIBILITY AND INDEMNIFICATION

To the extent permitted by applicable law, a User may be responsible for claims, losses, liabilities, costs or expenses arising from the User's:

- unlawful use of the Services;
- intentional misuse;
- fraudulent activity;
- violation of applicable terms;
- infringement of third-party rights;
- unauthorized submission of another person's information; or
- other conduct for which the User is legally responsible.

This provision shall not apply where such allocation is prohibited by applicable law.

47) FORCE MAJEURE

Tandav India shall not be responsible for delay, interruption, degradation or inability to provide a Service caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including:

- natural disasters;
- war;
- civil disturbance;
- government action;
- telecommunications failure;
- Internet infrastructure failure;
- cyberattacks;
- widespread technical outages;
- power failure;
- cloud-service failure;
- operating-system changes;
- regulatory intervention;
- public emergencies; or
- comparable circumstances.

48) CHANGES TO THE APPLICATION

Tandav India may modify, update, replace, improve, suspend, restrict or discontinue Application functionality where reasonably necessary for:

- security;
- compliance;
- maintenance;
- technical improvements;
- compatibility;
- product development;
- infrastructure changes;
- business requirements; or
- other legitimate purposes.

A feature available in one version may not necessarily remain available in another version.

A future feature that materially changes the nature of personal-data processing shall be separately reviewed for applicable notice, consent, permission and privacy requirements.

49) CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

Tandav India may amend this Policy periodically to reflect:

- new or changed features;
- changed processing practices;
- security improvements;
- legal developments;
- regulatory requirements;
- third-party service changes;
- technical architecture changes; or
- operational changes.

The revised version shall identify its effective date and version number.

Where applicable law requires additional notice or consent for a material change, Tandav India shall take the required steps.

50) SEVERABILITY

If any provision of this Policy is determined to be invalid, unlawful, void or unenforceable by a competent authority, that provision shall be interpreted or modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it legally effective where permitted.

The remaining provisions shall continue in effect to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

51) NO WAIVER

A failure or delay by Tandav India in exercising any right, remedy or provision shall not constitute a permanent waiver of that right, remedy or provision unless expressly required by applicable law.

52) ENTIRE PRIVACY POLICY

This Policy constitutes the principal privacy and data-processing notice applicable to the Services together with applicable:

- feature-specific notices;
- permission disclosures;
- consent mechanisms;
- application-store disclosures;
- Data Safety declarations; and
- other legally applicable supplementary notices.

Where a feature-specific notice contains more precise information concerning a particular processing activity, that notice shall supplement this Policy.

The actual technical behavior of the released Application shall remain the controlling factual basis for determining what data is technically processed.

53) GOVERNING LAW

This Policy shall be interpreted subject to applicable laws of India, including applicable provisions concerning:

- data protection;
- information technology;
- cybersecurity;
- consumer protection;
- contracts;
- privacy; and
- other applicable legislation, rules, regulations, notifications and binding governmental requirements.

The Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and applicable rules and notifications shall apply to the extent and from the dates on which the relevant provisions become applicable to the relevant processing activity.

Nothing in this Policy is intended to exclude mandatory statutory rights or obligations.

54) DATA PROTECTION AND PRIVACY COMPLIANCE

Tandav India intends to maintain privacy and data-governance practices appropriate to its actual processing activities.

Depending upon applicable law and the relevant Application version, these practices may include:

- data minimisation;
- purpose limitation;
- local-first processing;
- appropriate notices;
- consent mechanisms where required;
- security safeguards;
- retention controls;
- deletion mechanisms;
- grievance handling;
- rights-request mechanisms;
- third-party processor controls;
- security incident procedures; and
- other legally required measures.

The existence of this Policy does not by itself establish compliance with every legal requirement.

Compliance depends upon the actual technical, organizational and operational practices implemented by Tandav India.

55) GOOGLE PLAY AND APPLICATION-PLATFORM COMPLIANCE

Tandav India may be distributed through Google Play or other application-distribution platforms.

Application-platform requirements may impose obligations concerning:

- privacy policies;
- Data Safety declarations;
- sensitive permissions;
- prominent disclosures;
- user consent;
- account deletion;
- third-party SDKs;
- security;
- user-data handling; and
- other matters.

Tandav India shall seek to keep its platform disclosures consistent with the actual released Application.

Google Play requires developers to provide accurate Data Safety disclosures, including data handled through third-party SDKs, and places responsibility on developers for maintaining those disclosures.

Where the Application requests sensitive permissions, such permissions shall be tied to disclosed functionality and handled in accordance with applicable platform requirements.

56) THIRD-PARTY SDK AND TECHNICAL AUDIT

Tandav India shall treat third-party SDK data handling as part of the Application's overall data-handling obligations.

Before materially changing an SDK or adding a new SDK, the relevant data practices should be reviewed for:

- information collected;
- information transmitted off-device;
- recipients;
- permissions;
- identifiers;
- analytics behavior;
- advertising behavior;
- security implications; and
- applicable platform requirements.
- retention;

Tandav India shall not intentionally configure an SDK to transmit Secure Vault documents, passwords, OTPs, emergency SMS contents or unnecessary live-location information for unrelated analytics or advertising purposes.

If an SDK cannot be configured consistently with applicable privacy and platform requirements, Tandav India may remove or replace that SDK.

Google's current SDK guidance places responsibility on developers for third-party code included in the Application and requires developers to understand what those SDKs access, collect and transmit.

57) USER ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

By using Tandav India, the User acknowledges that:

- Tandav India is an independent technology platform and not a government authority;
- government websites remain under the control of their respective operators;
- Secure Vault is designed for local device storage and is not a cloud backup service;
- Tandav India does not intentionally maintain cloud copies of supported Vault documents;
- supported emergency SMS functionality may use the device's location to prepare an emergency message;
- emergency communication depends upon the User's device and telecommunications infrastructure;
- local information may be permanently lost;
- third-party services may independently process technical information;
- software may contain defects or experience interruptions;
- permissions may be required for particular features;
- denying required permissions may disable corresponding functionality;
- important information should be independently verified;
- emergency features should not replace official emergency services;
- no electronic system can be guaranteed to be completely secure; and
- mandatory legal rights and protections remain unaffected.

58) PRIVACY REQUESTS

Subject to applicable law, Users may submit requests concerning:

- access;
- correction;
- deletion;
- withdrawal of consent;
- grievance redressal;
- processing questions;
- security concerns; or
- other legally recognized privacy rights.

Where the requested information exists exclusively on the User's device and has never been transmitted to Tandav India-controlled infrastructure, Tandav India may be technically unable to:

- access it;
- export it;
- correct it;
- recover it;
- remotely delete it; or
- provide a copy of it.

Such limitation is a consequence of the local-first architecture and does not constitute a refusal to comply with a legally applicable right.

Requests shall be handled subject to:

- identity verification where reasonably necessary;
- applicable legal exceptions;
- applicable statutory timelines;
- technical feasibility; and
- information actually under Tandav India's control.

59) FINAL NOTICE

Tandav India is intended to provide a convenient technology platform for:

- government-service discovery;
- information and navigation;
- local document storage;
- personal-safety assistance;
- informational utilities; and
- access to digital resources.

Tandav India is not intended to replace:

- government authorities;
- official government portals;
- emergency services;
- police;
- hospitals;
- physicians;
- lawyers;
- financial professionals;
- banks;
- insurers; or
- other competent professional or governmental authorities.

Users should independently verify information and use appropriate official services whenever a matter is legally, financially, medically, personally or physically consequential.

The local-first architecture means that supported local feature information is intended to remain under the User's device custody rather than being maintained as a centralized Tandav India cloud record.

The User's continued use of the Services remains subject to this Policy, applicable feature-specific notices, applicable platform rules and applicable law.

Nothing in this Policy guarantees that Tandav India, any particular feature, any external website, any telecommunications network, any government portal or any third-party service will operate without interruption or error.

Nothing in this Policy is intended to exclude or restrict any right, remedy, obligation or protection that applicable law does not permit Tandav India to exclude or restrict.
